Video Biography

First we’ll coordinate a day to film at the home of the person being interviewed or somewhere else where they feel comfortable. Before the interview, you can send us a list of topics to cover if you’d like.

On the day of filming, Nolan and Jamie will arrive on-site to set up. Nolan will conduct the interview in a conversational format, and Jamie will run the camera. It can take a while to interview someone about their whole life, so we’ll check in with the interviewee and take breaks as needed.

After the interview (depending on the package selected), we’ll edit select chapters from the footage and send to the family for revisions. We’ll also ask you to look for any photos you’d like to include to go along with the chapters.

When we receive the revisions and photos, we’ll finalize the chapters and send back to you for final approval.

A chapter is an edited segment, generally 5-10 minutes long, covering a portion of the speaker’s life. The chapters will be determined by the interview, but might include Family History, Early Childhood, Education, Family Life, Career, and Life Lessons.

• One interview up to 4 hours, conducted by our experienced team and filmed with professional audio equipment, lighting kit and two cameras.
• Raw footage provided on a solid-state drive (SSD)
• For packages that include edited chapters:
  • The SSD will have the final movies and retouched photos
  • Chapters saved to an unlisted YouTube playlist to share with friends and family
  • Google Drive link to share with anyone who wants to download the chapters (the link will be active for 3 months)
